We are from Mesquite Texas and we compete in cook offs all over the State of Texas. All this started back in the late 90’s when a couple of us friends where sitting around in the backyard drinking cold beer and cooking out on a little back yard smoker and then some friends of ours told us about a local cook off. We entered and had a blast. Since then we have been hooked! We went and bought a smoker on a trailer and then it was time to have some fun! We competed for several years and then everyone got to busy to do any cook offs so we took a break for a few years. In 2007 we started talking about doing cook offs again. It was time to get busy working on the smoker and getting it ready to compete again.

April of 2008 we entered our first cook off in several years and won 2^nd place in Ribs. Not to bad for us coming out of retirement. That 2^nd place finish qualified us for the National BBQ Cook Off in Merdian Texas. We went and had fun. To bad we didn’t win there. Oh well we learned a lot.
